After viewing the Canadian National Meteorite Collection stored in Ottawa/Gatineau in early January, I spent a busy week in Arizona in early February, chasing down more meteorites.
Samples of meteorites that fall in Canada ( or any other country for that matter) can end up in museums, universities and private collections anywhere in the world. Every January and February, meteorite enthusiasts from all over the world gather to buy or sell meteorites at the annual Tucson Gem and Mineral Show in Arizona. Several dealers were kind enough to show me their Canadian specimens this year !
